The Breath of God

Wow! It's November! How did that happen? October was quite possibly the busiest and most productive month of my entire life....well maybe that is a bit dramatic. It was seriously busy though! We finished up the corn dog stand at the end of September. Then we rolled right into the Ladies Conference, then came PURSUE, throw in a skit, some homeschooling, soccer, and a toddler and you have got one busy momma:)! I have loved every minute of it though!

The hubs and I have been talking alot about living life inspired. I love the word inspired, it literally means "God-breathed"... I don't know about you but I want to live life like that! I want the things that I am pouring my heart into to be God breathed! The older I get the more I realize life is too short to just go through the motions! We have such an amazingly creative and passionate God! To be made in His image and not use the unique gifts He put in US would be such a tragedy! As busy as October was, I can honestly say I felt the breath of God and it brought LIFE to my heart!

I loved the Ladies Conference! It was such a joy to see ladies connecting with God and each other. To have helped facilitate the strengthening of familes in such fun and creative ways was really very satisfying!

And PURSUE...wow...where do I begin? The whole concept of the weekend just sums up being a real Christian...pursuing God and pursuing the people He loves! Doesn't get any better than that! You know when you just feel the smile of God? That was my experience with PURSUE! I had such a great time with the kiddos! They are hilariously funny and incredibly perceptive! It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend! And the team that made it all happen....AMAZING!!! Talk about inspiring! Now I will confess that I was completely exhausted on Sunday night...I fell asleep in mid-sentence on my couch:) and Monday was totally a pajama day....oh how I love those days!

So bring on November! I am feeling inspired to snuggle on my couch with my sweet family in front of a roaring fire and perhaps our beloved Cowboys will feel inspired to win a game...a girl can dream can't she:)
